Smoked Chicken Omelettes

My latest love, smoked chicken omelette (once again, it was just by chance that this scrumptious recipe revealed itself to me, one step at a time!)

Here's what you'll need:
Maggie's Oriental chilli sauce (it comes in those tiny little bottles) or thai chilli sauce (red)
Eggs (5 for an omelette for 2)
Garlic Bread
One or two thin slices of smoked chicken salami
One de-seeded tomato
Green Chillies
Olive Oil or even mustard oil!

Method:
Whisk all 5 eggs in a bowl, add a dash of salt, one chopped green chilli (without the seeds) and a tablespoon of milk (makes it fluffy).

Heat the pan with some olive oil, throw in the chopped tomatoes and green chillies (with the seeds). Add a dash of salt. Stir fry for about 5 minutes. Throw in strips on finely sliced smoked chicken salami (there are plenty of varieties available at spencer's in gurgaon.) Add one tablespoon of oriental chilli sauce and le it fry again till you feel the chicken's soaked up the flavours of the green chilli, tomato and the chilli sauce, by this time it should be looking and smelling great!

Whisk the eggs lightly again before pouring em on to the non-stick pan. As soon as the eggs settle thickly onto the pan, its a perfect time to pop the garlic bread into the pop-up toaster. Let the omellete cook for a bit, then fold, turn off the flame and serve with lightly buttered garlic bread!

Have a great breakfast!

Molten Chocolate...

A quick way to prepare a recipie for happiness...

I came upon it by pure chance and ofcourse because of my love for chocolate, i was divinely, intuitively guided towards the taste of heaven...

Buy some cooking chocolate, surprisingly, cadbury's sells it, but sadly, its really hard to find :( if you live in gurgaon, you'll find it at needs the supermarket..

okay, here goes (the measuring ingredient here is love)

heat the cooking chocolate in a non-stick pan (don't use regular chocolate unless its very rich and good quality because local indian chocolate won't melt)

add some butter in it...

sugar (nearly half a cup should do if you're making for one or two people)

add a pinch of salt...

stir with a wooden spoon

add some milk if you're feeling the love :D

throw in some walnuts and cashewnuts

and turn off from the flame. before the mixture can cool and settle, pour it in white tea or coffee mugs and dive into temptation :)

Have a happy dessert! :)

A rainy drive to Neemrana...

A view of the Neemrana Fort Palace from one of the higher terraces...

The imposing palace...(with electric wires here and there...)
Little balconies offerring vews of the Aravali mountains as you sip your morning tea perhaps?
The terrace we bravely climbed up through a narrow staircase.
A view for two?

Le Cafe at GK - 1

Le Cafe was an amazing experience! Skeeter and i had a sumptuous lunch, i opted for the grilled fish of the day in lemon butter sauce (i'm feeling hungry again!), served with hash browns i think...

Skeeter opted for the mezze platter. As always our times together are happy :)

Good Job monseiur Ravi Bajaj!
